Empire Covers Review

We recently purchased a new (to us) camper. It was a significant investment in quality family time and I want to be able to do everything I can to maintain and protect it. I was doing some research on how to properly maintain a camper trailer and one of the key topics that I found was RV covers. A major source of problems on campers is leaking due to separation in the roof's seams because of abuse from mother nature. Having a cover greatly reduces this concern.

Empire Covers provides a selection of covers to protect cars, campers, RVs, trailers, motorcycles and more. They sell everything from class A RV covers to a Road Wrap, all products that help you protect and maintain your investment.

I received a Class C RV cover for my Jayco Jay Feather 21J hybrid trailer. The cover has a unique adjustable design with adjustable front and rear tension panels provide a custom-like fit for less than half the price of other covers.

The full height zippered panels (see photo below) allow for complete access to the entrance side and rear, so you can still enter and use the camper while it is covered, which is important to be able to get in and out of it to store things and clean it.

The cover itself has air vents to help reduce wind lofting and also allows trapped moisture to escape. The top of the cover is made of three layers to repel rain, snow, and UV rays, the sides of the cover are single layer polypropylene and also UV resistant. We get some awful weather here in New England at times, especially in the winter, so its important that the cover can protect the camper from the ice and snow. In addition, the cover comes with a free storage bag and free rear ladder cap.

This particular Class C RV cover starts at $204.99 and includes a 3 year warranty. Empire Covers RV covers are as little as $84.99 for a pop up camper cover. I feel that these are very reasonable prices, especially when comparison shopping and looking at other covers that are twice the price and have the same features. Also taking into consideration that damage due to water leakage can cost you thousands, this is really a must have investment for camper and RV owners.
